In this interview, she discusses the team's research on protection-oriented messages, strengths-based perspectives, and allyship for undocumented immigrant youth. The radio/podcast show is called, Líderes del Futuro, and the show's host is Rafael Vazquez. 
  • August 5, 2020: Listen to a Spanish radio/podcast interview with Doctoral Student Monica Cornejo. In this interview, she discusses the team's research on protection-oriented messages, strengths-based perspectives, and allyship for undocumented immigrant youth. She also shares her findings from her Master's thesis that explored how undocumented youth learn that they are undocumented and how they make sense of their undocumented identity through family communication. THE MEANING OF ALLYSHIP FOR DACA STUDENTS

DEVELOPING AND EVALUATING CULTURALLY-GROUNDED VIDEOS ABOUT CAMPUS MENTAL-HEALTH SERVICES  

We worked with UCSB undocumented students, Undocumented Student Serivces, and Counseling & Psychological Services to create culturally-grounded animation videos for undocumented students.
